Unable to left click and drag map

I've been running Maps continuously since about 6:00 a.m. CDT (it's now 1:00 p.m.) on Chrome (v37.0.2062.124) on a desktop computer running Windows 7. Within the last 30 minutes I noticed that I can no longer click the left mouse and drag the map around to change my field of view. When I refresh the browser the feature resumes, but of course I lose all of my data layer settings, etc.

Just for the heck of it, I'm going to close out Chrome now (since I had to refresh anyway) and run it on Firefox and see if I can duplicate the same condition.

Chrome is our browser of choice and what we use to develop.

There are certain interactions (events) that can occur in Maps which cause this. Maps zooming / panning is disabled through the code when you hover your mouse over the Forecast HUD (bottom) or the Left / Right controls. This is to prevent inadvertent zooming / panning caused by mouse interactions with those elements. If this issue reoccurs, see if mousing over the Forecast HUD and then moving your mouse back to the map remedies the issue. You may also try opening / closing the overlay pane.

We will, of course, try to reproduce this ourselves as well.
