  We are also looking into improving the color tables currently used on IR and VIS imagery.

  Pre-loading and Animation is in the works for both Real-Time and Forecast data.

  This is In Progress. I am also fine-tuning the color tables for all GOES imagery.

  The backend for animating GOES Imagery has been completed. Imagery updates every 15 minutes; if the GOES imager is not in RSO (Rapid Scan Operations,) the normal update schedule is every 30 minutes. This means that the oldest a GOES image can be is 29 minutes old. So you may not see any changes for 5 frames at most.

  I am continuing to work on the Water Vapor imagery. The IR is getting closer to my satisfaction, but still lacks the resolution I would expect.

  I'm going to mark this as "Done," just know that I'm continuing to work on improving the color tables for IR/WV
