lightning feed(s) in Hawaii

aloha AllisonHouse team...

the past several days we had unstable weather which produced a lot of cloud to ground lightning, i use GR Level 2 & 3 and haven't been able to get the lightning feed to work at all...it works when i observe other radars on the mainland but not here in Hawaii.  my radarscope app lightning failed to work as well.  tried to reconfigure a bunch of times with no success.

we got another round of unstable weather with a low pressure developing over us by next week sometime, would like to get it working by then.  any help will be greatly appreciated.

  When you say it failed to work, can you be more specific?

  Do you have it configured for AllisonHouse?

  Did other AllisonHouse feeds work (storm tracks, etc) or did none of the AllisonHouse feeds work?

  hey Tyler...i appreciate you getting back to me.

  basically no lightning strikes recorded whatsoever.

  not exactly sure what you mean by "configured for AllisonHouse" other than the norm.  if you mean other data feeds from other providers then no, just AH.

  all other feeds work.

  only outside of Hawaii.

  we're expecting some lightning activity today with an upper trough over the state...i'll keep monitoring.

  just to clarify "outside of Hawaii", these are the radars that i use; phmo, phki, phkm and phwa.

  Sorry for the delayed response. It looks like the USPLN network only covers the continental US.  Though we do get the occasional strokes identified in Hawaii, it's due to atmospheric skips more than direct identification.

   

  Sorry...looks like we simply don't have the data for Hawaii.  We will be updating our documentation to reflect this.
