Local Storm Reports

I just purchased my first subscription to AllisonHouse and it is Great !!!! I have the local storm reports turned on and was looking at the Heavy Rain reports . What does "Magnitude M1.20 inches" mean ? Is it saying they have had heavy rain and received 1.20 inches of rain ? Is there an area that will tell me what info each placefile is giving me ? Some of them I don't understand what they are telling me .

Thanks for the help . I am looking forward to learning everything that this data can tell me .

Hi Steve,

I have been an Allisonhouse subscriber for a few years now, and will definitely agree it is great (and gets better ALL the time) The M1.20 means that was a measured amount. Sometimes you will see an "E" preceding the number, and that means it was estimated. That often happens with wind gusts in thunderstorms.
