Is there going to be any more changes to the wind arrows ? Such as thoughs on the NAM-WRF 925mb thru 200mb. Some of the colors are hard to tell what speed they represent. It would be nice if they were clickable or mouseover to see there speed.

Ryan Hickman This is very difficult, if not impossible in a browser. This would require thousands of "markers" to be drawn on the display. These markers would require x amount of memory per marker, and may exhaust the browser's resources. Reference the METARs which are drawn as markers on the display; browser performance clearly suffers (http://support.allisonhouse.com/entries/60403790-METAR-Performance-Vectors-).
Our plan is to entirely migrate from wind arrows to wind barbs for every level. Currently barbs are being used on all levels which do not exceed 100 knots. Additional icons need to be made and existing icons recolored in order for us to complete the transition on all UA wind products. This is a priority project which we hope to have complete by early next week at the latest.
Is this an acceptable solution?

Steve Bishop Ryan ,
Sorry about that . Those of us on this side of the Map don't realize what kind of work it takes for all of this to come together . I appreciate all your work on this . Doing an awesome job.
Yes , In my opinion Wind Barbs would be better than the colored arrows . Seems to me that the colored arrows cover a too broad of a range. The Wind Barbs would be more precise .
Thanks for asking , appreciate that

Ryan Hickman Wind barbs have been rolled out to all models wind contours.
I will be updating the icons' colors to match the respective level. No ETA at this time as I have to modify each icon individually, per level in Photoshop.
