Originally from ticket #7087.
I was wondering is the option there for current users and subscribers to have the option (eventually) to be able to load our own custom placefiles, .kmz and gis file into the maps software like we can via GR3, GR2AE, etc..
Just a suggestion, but it'd be pretty cool to have that ability, and also more drawing tools, and resources as well.. ex.. (text box, markers, able to set colors for polygons, lines, etc.. )
