Hi. I’ve been a StormLab user for many years. I recently bought GR2Analyst_2
and have noticed a problem with marine data over the past few weeks.
I live on Long Island, NY and always use ship reports with StormLab and
never had problems with them. When a ship reports a position, it displays for an
hour or so and then disappears. If a new position is reported, then that new position
shows. The old position might still show for a short time along with the new
one, but it disappears within the next
hour.
With Gibson Ridge software, the plots continue to show for up to 24 hours
before they disappear, see attached image. So there
may be 10 or more plots showing for the same ship. If a ship only reports one
position, it continues to show for up to 24 hours.
I was wondering if you could make the ship plots
for Gibson Ridge software work like they do on StormLab.
Also, when I uncheck to not show ships in the Gibson Ridge control
panel, they continue to show on Gibson Ridge software, but don’t show on
StormLab. Could you check that out as well.
